On June 7, 2026, at approximately 5:08 AM, a vehicle collided with a deer on Interstate 5 South, just south of Twin Cities Road. The vehicle moved to the right-hand shoulder with no injuries reported. The deer was no longer visible by 5:13 AM, and the driver remained in the vehicle. The incident occurred just north of Bean Ranch Road, outside the Stockton CHP area.
