On June 15, 2026, at approximately 2:45 PM, a traffic collision involving a white Jeep and a grey Honda occurred on southbound Interstate 805 just north of Governor Road. The collision initially blocked the middle lanes, with a grey SUV showing front-end damage. One vehicle was reported as abandoned in the fourth lane. The Freeway Service Patrol and CHP officers worked to move the vehicles to the gore point to clear the roadway. At least one tow truck was required for a Toyota. By 2:56 PM, the roadway was open.
