On June 7, 2026, at approximately 2:00 AM, a black Nissan Frontier truck went down an embankment on the right-hand shoulder of the Interstate 80 Westbound Richmond Parkway HOV on-ramp. The accident occurred after the vehicle ran over debris in the roadway. The driver sustained head injuries and an ambulance was dispatched.
