On June 23, 2026, at approximately 12:50 AM, a truck and horse trailer were reported in the oncoming lane at Sierra Highway and Agua Dulce Canyon Road. Three horses were reported running in the lanes. It was later determined that there was no traffic collision; instead, animals had escaped into a local yard. Authorities checked northbound Sierra Highway for the horses and coordinated with the LA County Air Support for the arrival of animals.
