On June 21, 2026, at approximately 9:29 PM, a collision occurred involving a grey Lexus SUV and a silver Subaru coupe on Interstate 5 South at Beach Boulevard. The Subaru was blocking the slow lane due to a tire failure. All parties reported no injuries in the initial incident. Shortly after, at 9:35 PM, a dark-colored sedan collided with the right shoulder wall and was seen blocking the slow lane.
