On July 2, 2026, a traffic collision involving four vehicles occurred on the Eastbound Interstate 80 off ramp to Manuel Campos Parkway. The incident was initially reported via an Apple Watch notification. Four vehicles were blocking the second lane, and California Highway Patrol officers on scene worked to move the vehicles to the right shoulder. No injuries were reported. A white Toyota SUV required a tow truck from Adco Towing, and a blue Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicle required a flatbed tow truck via a motor club. The blue Chevrolet Bolt was eventually moved to the Eastbound 80 motorcycle off ramp.
