Traffic Collision on US-101 South at Fair Oaks Ave South Off Ramp

On June 23, 2026, at approximately 1:47 PM, a blue Chevrolet Silverado collided with the center divide on the US-101 Southbound lanes, just north of Matilda. The incident was reportedly caused by the transmission coming loose, causing the vehicle to spin out. No injuries were reported. The collision blocked three to four lanes of traffic, and a tow truck from Fortes Brothers Motor Club was requested and expected to arrive within 30 minutes.
