On June 6, 2026, at approximately 4:33 AM, a traffic collision was reported at San Juan Grade Road and Crazy Horse Canyon Road. Although an ambulance was dispatched, the Monterey County Fire Department and AMR were unable to locate the accident site and eventually cleared the scene.
