On June 16, 2026, at approximately 8:19 AM, a collision occurred between a grey Tesla Model Y and a grey Honda sedan on the Interstate 880 North Gish Road off ramp. Both vehicles initially blocked the second and middle lanes. After receiving safety instructions to clear the lanes, the Freeway Service Patrol moved both vehicles to the gore point at Gish Road. The California Highway Patrol later confirmed there were no injuries and closed the incident.
