On June 5, 2026, at approximately 7:38 PM, a traffic collision occurred on the Interstate 80 West 9th Street off ramp involving a copper BMW sedan and a beige Chevrolet Malibu. No injuries were reported. Caltrans was notified and tow trucks were requested to clear the vehicles. By 8:07 PM, the vehicles were moved and the roadway was cleared.
