On June 3, 2026, at approximately 2:51 PM, a multi-vehicle traffic collision occurred on the El Cajon on-ramp to Interstate 8 East. The incident involved a white Ford Ranger, a white unknown pick-up truck, and a white four-door sedan. One vehicle spun out and hit the right-hand shoulder. The vehicles were subsequently moved to the side of the road to clear the intersection. Emergency services, including police and medics, responded to the scene. The fire department requested a flatbed tow truck, and C&D Towing was dispatched to assist.
