On June 6, 2026, a white Nissan Sentra and a silver four-door Nissan sedan collided on the right shoulder of Interstate 405 South at Alameda Street. The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) moved the vehicles off the freeway to a nearby 76 gas station and subsequently to 3631 Santa Fe.
