Traffic Collision on Interstate 10 West near Main Street

On June 6, 2026, at approximately 2:29 PM, a silver Kia K4 was involved in a traffic collision on westbound Interstate 10 near Main Street at mile marker 19. The incident began when a vehicle ran over a black German Shepherd that was crossing from the right shoulder to the center divide. The Kia K4 ended up in the center divide with damage to its bumper. The driver requested a report. Additionally, reports indicated two other possible deceased dogs in the first lane further ahead.
