On June 5, 2026, a traffic collision involving a grey Mercedes SUV and a red Nissan Sentra occurred in the number two lane of Interstate 580 West at the Hacienda Drive off ramp. Both vehicles initially blocked the first and second lanes before being relocated to the center divide.
