On July 2, 2026, at approximately 5:18 PM, a vehicle went off the roadway at the intersection of State Route 28 and Burton Creek Drive. No injuries were reported in the collision. CALFIRE GRV, the Placer County Sheriff's Office, and a tow truck from Cal Nev Tow were dispatched to the scene to assist.
