On July 4, 2026, at approximately 6:25 AM, a vehicle collision occurred at the Interstate 580 West Toll Plaza. A black SUV and a black Lexus sedan were involved in crashes into toll booths, with the black SUV impacting the lane 4 toll booth and blocking lane 4. CCTV footage indicated a vehicle was blocking the lanes, facing sideways, with possible damage to the attenuator.
