On June 5, 2026, at approximately 10:05 PM, a single vehicle left the roadway near the intersection of Corning Road and Weston Road. The driver, an adult Asian male operating a blue Acura (CA plate 3LDG872), left the scene but later stated he lived just west of the location on Weston Road. No injuries or property damage were reported. Cal Fire responded to the incident and CHP officers coordinated with them to locate the vehicle in Paskenta, just north of Corning Road.
