On July 2, 2026, at approximately 7:42 PM, a single-vehicle traffic collision occurred at the gore point of the Del Maroon Avenue off-ramp. The vehicle ended up in an embankment on the southbound Del Maroon on-ramp to eastbound Interstate 10. The driver declined ambulance services and no damage to state property was reported. A tow truck from Citywide Towing was requested and arrived on the scene to recover the vehicle.
