On July 2, 2026, at approximately 2:24 PM, a collision occurred between a white pick-up truck and a small four-door sedan on the Brookhurst Street on-ramp to southbound Interstate 5. One vehicle was facing the wrong way on the right-hand shoulder of the on-ramp. The incident blocked the second lane of the on-ramp, with access being best via the Brookhurst Street off-ramp. A tow truck from Russels Tow was dispatched to the scene.
