On July 2, 2026, at approximately 2:50 PM, a grey KIA K5 and a dump truck collided on the right shoulder of the Northbound Interstate 5 and Northbound Interstate 405. The collision occurred near the center divide, with all vehicles remaining on the right shoulder. Officers arrived on the scene at 2:55 PM and the vehicles were turned at San Fernando Mission.
