On June 21, 2026, at approximately 12:13 PM, a motorcycle collision occurred on US-50 Westbound, just east of Folsom Blvd. A motorcycle, identified as a BMW GS750, collided with a couch that had fallen from an unknown color truck. The motorcycle rolled several times in the second lane, and the rider was found lying on the right-hand shoulder. The accident caused significant traffic backups extending to Prairie City. Emergency services, including the fire department, responded to the scene. The incident resulted in major injuries. The roadway was cleared by 12:41 PM.
