On June 17, 2026, at approximately 6:24 AM, a solo motorcycle rider went down in the high-occupancy vehicle (carpool) lane of northbound Interstate 805, just north of H Street in the collector. An ambulance was requested to the scene. The motorcycle was eventually moved to the right shoulder, and while a tow truck was initially requested, the request was later cancelled.
