On June 3, 2026, at approximately 11:24 AM, a collision occurred between a motorcycle and a vehicle on southbound Interstate 5, just north of State Route 163. The motorcycle rider took a turn too wide and swerved into the lane of a red or maroon vehicle. Both vehicles ended up on the right shoulder. The rider was standing after the crash, and an ambulance was dispatched to the scene. A tow truck from Advantage Tow SDI was requested for the vehicle recovery.
