On June 16, 2026, at approximately 1:03 PM, a traffic collision involving a motorcycle occurred on southbound Interstate 280, just south of the Trousdale Drive on-ramp. Witnesses reported seeing a puff of smoke before the motorcyclist spun out and fell face down. One lane was blocked, and three other vehicles pulled over to the right shoulder. The fire department and an ambulance were requested and dispatched to the scene.
