On July 3, 2026, a grey Chevrolet Cruze sedan with two male occupants fled the scene after striking a tree on a private property located at 1610 State Route 135. The owner reported that the two males, wearing light jeans and a Tommy sweater, exited the vehicle and fled southbound and then eastbound into fields. No injuries were reported, and a tow truck was requested to remove the vehicle from the tree.
