On June 22, 2026, at approximately 1:37 PM, a hit-and-run incident occurred on the I-710 North at the West Del Amo Boulevard off ramp. A Freeway Service Patrol vehicle reportedly struck the mirror of another vehicle, described as a big rig/18-wheeler tractor truck. The reporting party stated they followed the Freeway Service Patrol truck after the collision, and the CHP reported that the reporting party pulled over to the right shoulder just south of Long Beach.
