On June 3, 2026, at approximately 5:45 PM, a white 18-wheeler tractor truck was involved in a hit-and-run incident on the Interstate 580 East, Livermore Platform Scale on-ramp. No injuries were reported. The suspect vehicle was eventually stopped on the right-hand shoulder of eastbound I-580, just east of Grant Line Road, after missing the Grant Line off-ramp.
