On June 17, 2026, at approximately 4:34 AM, a hit and run collision resulting in injuries occurred on the eastbound Interstate 210, just west of Riverside Avenue. A vehicle was found sideways in the first lane and another ended up in the center divide. An iPhone traffic collision notification triggered the alert, and the CHP responded to the the situation. A tow truck was requested and officers initiated a traffic break at Alder to manage the scene.
