On June 15, 2026, a hit-and-run traffic collision occurred in a bank parking lot at 16265 State Route 116. A suspect vehicle backed into a pole that was part of a handicap ramp, causing damage. Responding officers arrived on the scene, which was part of a bank intersection that was closed. No one was on scene when officers arrived. Later, officers located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle at 16180 Neeley Road in Guerneville.
