On June 5, 2026, at approximately 4:53 AM, a hit-and-run incident occurred on Interstate 215 South at the Sheriff's Department and Columbia Avenue. A light blue Ford F-150 was found facing the wrong way on the right shoulder. A yellow Nissan Pathfinder was involved in a collision with an unknown vehicle and hit an attenuator. Another vehicle was found on a residential property south of the Columbia off-ramp. No injuries were reported.
