Big Rig Collision with Guardrail on State Route 60 East

On June 22, 2026, at approximately 3:19 PM, a big rig collided with the guardrail on the right shoulder of State Route 60 East at Country Village Road. The collision caused damage to the intersection. Caltrans was notified for repairs. A heavy-duty tow truck from Certified Towing was requested and dispatched to the scene. It was reported that the oil was leaking onto the concrete on the right shoulder, requiring absorball. Due to thewing process, three to four lanes of traffic were held for approximately 20 minutes, while the high occupancy vehicle (carpool) lanes 1 and 2 remained open.
