On July 3, 2026, a grey pickup truck drove off the road and into a ravine at mile marker 156 on SR 58 near Sand Canyon. An ambulance and a tow truck from AV Towing were requested to the scene. The incident was later confirmed as a solo vehicle collision with no injuries reported.
