On the night of July 2, 2026, a vehicle rolled three times before crashing on Wendel Road. First responders were initially delayed as reports emerged of an armed male at the intersection, causing an ambulance to stage. Once the situation was brought under control, the fire department and medical personnel were cleared to enter the scene. A full-size pickup truck involved in the crash suffered major damage and a flat tire, and was eventually towed from the scene.
