On June 3, 2026, at approximately 2:21 PM, a traffic collision involving a light-colored sedan and another sedan occurred on the right shoulder of southbound Interstate 805, just north of Interstate 8. One of the vehicles, a grey Nissan Versa, ended up stuck in the bushes on the right shoulder. Medics were requested for a person experiencing a panic attack. A tow truck from Bulldog Towing was dispatched to the scene.
